工作场所急救并非一种职业资格：这是雇主的义务，即根据员工人数和风险等级指定并培训足够的急救员，使得同事受伤时有人能立即施救。具体人数和规定取决于New Brunswick适用的法规。

需要多少名指定急救员？
The requirement depends on workers per shift and whether the work is 'high hazard' (defined in Schedule A of the regulation). E.g. 2-25 workers per shift: non-high-hazard = 1 Basic-level first aider; high-hazard = 1 Intermediate-level first aider. Employers must also assess risks and provide additional supplies, services and facilities (s. 4(3)).

Online training is recognized in New Brunswick; the practical portion of CSA levels is normally in person.

- 'High hazard work' is defined by reference to Schedule A of Regulation 2004-130, which raises the required first-aider level for the same headcount.
- Physicians, nurses and paramedics may act as first aiders without separate training.
- 2024 CSA harmonization: the former annual 6-hour refresher was removed in favour of triennial validity.

CSA Z1210-17急救 – 中级（16小时）- 符合CSA Z1210-17标准
成功完成本次为期十六（16）小时的中级急救面授培训后，学员将获得有效证书，符合CSA Z1210-17标准中规定的「中级急救培训」要求。
确实需要“工作场所急救”证书？
该特定法定证书必须在立法机构处完整完成：WorkSafeNB。
WorkSafeNB maintains a list of approved training providers and any new applicant must obtain WorkSafeNB approval (implementing CSA standards). A non-approved provider cannot issue the recognized certificate; non-approved online training only complements.
